Retailers Against Smuggling, the campaign led by the Tobacco Alliance, was formed over 20 years ago to voice the views of independent retailers of tobacco on all matters related to tobacco tax.

Today, the Tobacco Alliance represents over 16,000 independent retailers across the UK through its campaign "Retailers Against Smuggling".

Retailers Against Smuggling seeks to encourage the Government to bring UK tobacco tax levels more into line with the rest of the EU. This would remove the incentive to smuggle, help restore law and order in communities and safeguard the livelihoods of legitimate retailers.
